First Lady Fazna Ahmed has today launched School Corridor Activity; Hearty Breaks at Ghaazee School in Hulhumale' on the occasion of World Heart Day.
The activity was introduced by Ministry of Education in association with the Tiny Hearts of Maldives. During the launching event, First Lady Fazna interacted with the organisers and expressed her gratitude for organising such an event. She expressed that school corridor activity; hearty breaks will augment social interactions during collaborative learning and also offer a purposeful way for kids to use their corridors and enjoy the free time.
The government earlier pledged to work closely with non-governmental organisations to further promote healthier lifestyles and collaborate for wellness programmes conducted by civil society groups for the benefit of the society.
