Bank of Maldives (BML) has commenced efforts to establish Self Service Banking Centres in three additional islands.
The project is initiated as part of efforts to boost its presence in all parts of the country. In this regard, BML decided to establish self service centres in Dhangethi, Himmafushi and Makunudhoo. As part of the efforts, BML has now opened opportunity for interested parties to construct the centres.
Earlier this month, BML opened a dedicated Account Opening and Loan Centre in its Customer Service Centre in Male' Square. According to BML, the Account Opening and Loan Centre will be a dedicated stop for personal banking customers to open new accounts as well as apply for personal and housing loans. The national bank said both services will be catered with pre-booked appointments for a better service without having to wait in queue.
BML currently operates 51 Self Service Banking Centres in 38 branches across 20 atolls in the country.
