State Trading Organisation (STO) has stated the company has a sufficient amount of equipment required for the construction sector in stock.
Speaking to PSM News, General Manager of STO Fuel, Logistics and Construction Abdul Wahid stated the stock of construction tools and equipment is sufficient for now, adding easier arrangements have been made for individuals seeking equipment. He stated STO began preparing for the effects and aftermath of COVID-19 beforehand following the community spread in Male’ city.
Noting construction projects were ongoing in islands despite the lockdown imposed in Greater Male’ region, Wahid said logistics were arranged to provide the contractors with required tools and equipment. He also assured the stock of equipment is enough to avoid a shortage.
