Maldivian resumes express cargo services

The national flag carrier, Maldivian, has resumed express cargo services to ease sending goods domestically.

General Manager of Cargo Services at Island Aviation Services Limited (IASL) Ahmed Saleem revealed cargo packages of less than 10 kilograms can be sent via the cargo express services of the national airline. Saleem said the cargo express office will be open every day from 0930hrs to 1430hrs, except on Fridays. He said the office will accept packages consisting of normal goods and medicines while packages of fruits and vegetables must be handed over to airport cargo office at Velana International Airport (VIA).

IASL urged all individual seeking the express cargo services to use bank card services rather than exchanging cash.
