Manta Air to begin flights to Addu this month

Manta Air has announced its decision to commence flight operations to Addu City this month.

Manta Air revealed flights to Gan International Airport in Addu City will commence on February 24. The airline will operate one flight per day between Male’ and Addu.

Speaking on the decision to commence operations to Addu, CEO of Manta Air Mohamed Khaleel expressed belief the flights will be beneficial to a large number of people travelling to and from Addu. He stated the flights by Manta Air will help to change the experience of domestic flights in the Maldives.

Manta Air is the only local airline that offers two classes of tickets in domestic flights. As such, the airline offers economy and business class tickets in its domestic operations. Economy class passengers receives a 22kg check-in luggage allowance, while business class passengers recive a 35kg luggage allowance.

Manta Air revealed tickets for its domestic flights to Addu can be purchased through its website or through a ticketing agent.
