President Dr Mohamed Muizzu met with His Majesty King Charles III on the sidelines of the Twenty-Eighth Session of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP28).
The President and His Majesty King discussed the longstanding bilateral relations, further strengthening the excellent ties between the Maldives and the UK.
The conversation also centered around climate change mitigation, with President Dr Muizzu sharing information about the measures the Maldives has taken. His Majesty King assured his commitment to assisting with environmental initiatives in the Maldives.
