In her speech, the First Lady emphasised the pivotal role that sports play in fostering the physical and mental well-being of children. She urged students to perceive athletics not merely as a competitive arena but also as a means of actively engaging in physical activity.
The 'Nestlé Kids Netball Fest 2023,' organised by Fiontti Sports Academy in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Sports, Fitness, and Recreation, drew participation from over a thousand students representing schools in Male’ City. The tournament spanned from November 30, 2023, to December 2, 2023.
The First Lady observed the final matches and personally awarded medals to the victorious team at the culmination of the competition.
