The Maldivian Democratic Party (MDP) has decided to place 51 ballot boxes for it's National Council's by-elections.
The opposition party said elections are scheduled for August 2, with voting hours set from 1400hrs to 2130hrs. Among these, 27 ballot boxes will be stationed in the Greater Male' Region, while the remaining 24 will be distributed across various islands.
Candidates will compete for seats representing 17 constituencies in the Greater Male' Region and nine constituencies in the islands.
