Ministry of Economic Development has decided to hold a Small and medium-sized enterprises (SME) Financial Forum for Small and Medium Enterprises in Addu City and Meemu Atoll. The forum which is named as the Regional SME Financial Forum 2017 aims to cater information for Small and Medium Enterprises.
The organisers of the forum revealed that through this forum participants would be given financial tips and instructions. In addition, experienced and well known personals from Bank of Maldives, State Bank of India, Islamic Bank of Maldives and the Maldives Monetary Authority would disseminate information in the forum.
The organisers further revealed that special sessions would be taken by the Maldives Inland Revenue Authority which would have a question and answer session at the end to clarify the doubts of the participants. Ministry of Economic Development plans to hold the Addu city edition of the forum on September 23 and Meemu Atoll edition on September 30. The Ministry has now opened opportunity for the public participation.
