Villa Air has announced plans to expand domestic operations of Flyme to Maafaru Airport in Noonu Atoll.
Managing Director of Flyme Abdulla Nashid revealed plans to arrange reliable domestic operations to locals and tourists visiting Noonu Atoll.
Villa Air has not yet announced the dates of commencement of operations. However, the company has assured to reveal more details in the coming days.
While Noonu Atoll houses a population of around 10,000 people, the atoll hosts a number of resorts such as Soneva Jani, Sun Siyam Irufushi, Velaa Private Island, Chevel Blanc Randheli and the recently opened Movenpick Resort Kuredhivaru Maldives.
Flyme currently operates to domestic airports in Maamigili in Alifu Dhaalu Atoll, Dharavandhoo in Baa Atoll, Fuvahmulah City and Addu City.
